2025 ROBIN HOOD MINI MARATHON
The Mini Marathon is a fun run open to all the family. From serious athletes wanting a shorter race, to complete beginners wanting to have fun, get fit and raise money for charity all at the same time. The start time is 10:00am, after the Half Marathon. Chip timing will be used for all competitors, so everyone will get their position and race time.
Adults and children can take part in the Mini Marathon. Children must be at least 4 years of age. If they are under the age of 11 they must be accompanied by a participating adult; both child and adult have to enter the race.
Schools Challenge
Every child of school age between 4 and 17 is automatically entered into the Schools Challenge competition when the relevant school is added to the entry form.
Team prizes are awarded based on the top three performing children from an individual school in these age categories, U7, U9, U11, U13, U15 and finally U17. There must be three children in each category from the same school (male and female) to make a team.
The top three children in each age category from the top three performing schools will all be invited to an awards evening that will take place approximately 6-8 weeks after the event.
Details of the evening will be sent out when they are confirmed. Please note all Mini Marathon competition results are by chip time, not gun time.
