ROBIN HOOD HALF AND MINI MARATHON CELEBRATES RECORD NUMBERS OF CHARITY PARTNERS FOR 2024

Goldline Events, the proud organisers of the iconic Robin Hood Half and Mini Marathon, are thrilled to announce an expanded charity collaboration with a record number of eighteen partners for this year's race in September. We are inviting runners to enhance their experience by choosing to run for one of these remarkable organisations. This initiative not only offers participants the chance to raise essential funds but also to enjoy a sense of camaraderie from registration right through to crossing the finish line.

This year’s event takes place on Sunday, 29th September, and with extraordinary entry numbers so far, promises to be a vibrant showcase of community spirit. Runners of all ages and abilities, from first-timers to elite athletes, are encouraged to don their charity vests and contribute to a kaleidoscope of fundraising activities and fancy dress. It's an opportunity to make each step meaningful by supporting crucial work across the UK and within local communities.

Judith Manson, Race Director, stated, "With an increased number and variety of charity partners, I am incredibly proud of our collaborative efforts to make a difference in our community. Once again, we are so privileged to be joining with such inspirational causes and individuals as we move towards race day. The stories and triumphs we get to be a part of never fail to move us and we are delighted that at a time when it is being reported that donations are down generally that we are helping to buck that trend and we hope for a record-breaking year of fundraising in 2024."

Participants who have already secured their race entry are warmly encouraged to get in touch with one of the partner charities through our website. By aligning with these organisations, runners can make the 2024 Robin Hood Half and Mini Marathon a memorable occasion for all.

Cancer Research UK remains as the headline charity for the 43rd annual event. Every step towards curing cancer relies on every pound, every hour and every person. Without the support of our volunteers, supporters and every single one of our runners, their scientists would not be able to do their work in the lab to save more lives by preventing, controlling and curing all cancers.
