100 Days to Go: Robin Hood Half Marathon Anticipates Record Turnout and Unveils 2024 Medal

As the countdown begins for the much-anticipated Robin Hood Half and Mini Marathons, scheduled for 29 September, organisers are thrilled to showcase the launch of the 2024 race medal. Designed to embody the city’s rich heritage, the medal features a striking stag motif symbolising Nottingham's historic ties with the stag and the race route taking in Wollaton Park.

The 100-day milestone marks the beginning of the final stretch towards race day, promising an exceptional event with unprecedented interest. Entries for this year's races have already exceeded expectations, surpassing figures seen in the past decade. With over 10,000 participants expected to line up, the atmosphere on race day is set to be electric.

Goldline Events, organisers of the Robin Hood Half, emphasise the importance of early registration due to the overwhelming demand. As entry numbers continue to climb, potential adjustments to participant limits may be announced sooner than anticipated to accommodate the surge in interest.

Judith Manson, Race Director, expressed her enthusiasm, stating, “This event celebrates the unity of Nottingham’s running community and showcases the spirit of camaraderie among participants of all ages and abilities. We are excited to deliver an unforgettable race day experience for our runners and residents alike.”

The Robin Hood Half and Mini Marathons are not just races; they are a testament to Nottingham’s vibrant community spirit and commitment to fitness and wellbeing. As the city gears up for another spectacular event, anticipation is building for what promises to be a memorable day for all involved.
