Race Village

Located on the Victoria Embankment Recreation Ground the Race Village is right next to the start line and it's where the finish line is. Athletes come to drop off their baggage in the morning, soak up the entertainment before and after the race, meet friends and grab a bite to eat and drink. Here's an example of what you'll find on the day...

Baggage Tent
Runners are able to leave their baggage within the Baggage Tent prior to the race beginning. It will be clearly signed. Please expect to queue to drop/collect your baggage during peak times.

Catering
There will be a number of catering units serving a selection of tasty food Including fresh hot panines, burgers, fish and chips, carvery, hot & cold drinks & confectionary.

Charity Partners
Our Charity Partners will be in the Race Village on event day. Why not stop by to find out more about these great causes.

Entertainment
You'll find Cheerleaders, stilt walkers & bands dotted around to make sure the event goes off with a bang. If you're lucky you may just bump in to Robin Hood himself!

Helpdesk
The helpdesk is manned by Sweatshop staff to deal with any issues you might have on the day, including race pack collection and Elite athlete queries. It is also the place to go if you have lost something or someone. So if you have any issues or questions just stop by and we will be glad to help.

 

Race Village

Massage
The massage team are there to help with everything from pre-race body MOT to a relaxing post-race massage. Stop by to help relieve those weary legs.

Medical
Medical services will be located on the finish line and at the end of the finish funnel. If at any point you need help please make yourself known.

Meeting Points
Meeting points will be clearly signposted in the middle of the Race Village.

Stages
There are two stages. The first and largest is located in the Race Village and will have a number of acts and entertainment running throughout the day. The second is on Victoria Embankment near the start line, this is where your warm up will take place.

Toilets
There will be plenty of toilets to help with those last minute nerves and they will be clearly sign posted.

VIP
There is a VIP marquee with special features just for our VIP runners. If you are a VIP runner please head directly to the marquee when you arrive.

Stalls

Do you want to have your own stall or concession at our Ikano Bank Robin Hood Marathon and Half Marathon race village on 24th September 2017?

On Sunday 24th September 2017 thousands of runners will take part in this iconic event, taking in the sights of Nottingham's historic and beautiful City, as well as raising thousands of pounds for local, national and international charities.

If you are interested in selling your concessions to thousands of runners and spectators at one of Nottingham’s mass participation events then please email us at events@sweatshop.co.uk.

If your application is successful you will be asked to provide H&S documents.
