Ikano Bank has been providing savings, loans and other financial solutions to customers in the UK for more than 20 years. It employs nearly 250 people at its UK headquarters in Nottingham and is proud of its strong links within the city and community.

Ikano Bank is celebrating five years as the main sponsor of the Robin Hood Marathon & Half Marathon. 'Community' is embedded in everything Ikano Bank does, which is why it supports social initiatives where it can make a difference. This includes the award-winning financial education programme, Cheese Matters and its ongoing partnership with the Nottingham Academy to deliver employability and skills workshops. The Ikano Bank Robin Hood Marathon is a great opportunity to promote fitness and wellbeing activities in the local community and schools in Nottingham. This year, Ikano Bank has gone ‘TheExtraMile’ to ensure it’s the most successful event yet for organisers and participants, by offering training tips, support and a downloadable training guide for runners.

Ikano Bank is part of the international Ikano Group, which is owned by the Kamprad family – the same family that founded IKEA. It shares the same values: common sense and simplicity, working together and daring to be different. These values support Ikano Bank's promise of 'on fair terms'. Ikano Bank believes that no method is more effective than setting a good example and by living their values they make a difference.
