We encourage all charities to get involved with the Ikano Bank Robin Hood Marathon Events. Whether you are a local or national charity, being part of this event will give your charity fantastic exposure whilst encouraging our runners to raise thousands of pounds for your great cause.

Our objective is to transform the amount raised through these events for our Charity partners. There are six levels of Charity partnerships available, designed to suit all Charities, big or small. If you are interested in being an official charity partner please email:

Gem's Cash for Kids

Gem's Cash for Kids

Making a difference to the lives of children across the East Midlands

As many as 1 in 3 children in Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire & Leicestershire are living in poverty. Thousands more have a serious or life-limiting illness. Too many are subject to neglect or abuse. Gem's Cash for Kids was set up by your local radio station Gem to help these children. We fundraise all year to enable us to award grants supporting families, community projects and small charities who help these children live life to the full. Our team in this year’s Robin Hood Half Marathon is led by Cat James from Gem's afternoon show and Derby's Baasit Siddiqui – most commonly seen on the Gogglebox sofa on Channel 4!

We are a world class research facility based right here in Nottingham. Our aim is to save lives by developing cutting edge immunotherapeutic drugs and new ways to diagnose the disease at an earlier stage.

By working closely with local hospitals and patient groups across the city & region we ensure that our research has a real world impact which starts here in Nottingham, but then brings hope to patients worldwide.
